Job Title: Book Keeper
Rate / Salary: £26,000 per annum pro rata (£13,000)
Hours: Flexible but minimum 20 hours per week
Provide bookkeeping services for use by the Company Accountant and Business Managers on a part-time basis. Includes financial accounting, management accounting, forecasting and budgeting, company pensions, VAT. To maintain records to meet legal requirements and to manage, create and maintain a record of transactions.
To prepare the company’s payroll.
To provide high-quality support service to the Managing Director and Business Managers.

Job Title: Sales Person
Rate / Salary: £18k - £24k - Depending on Experience + Target Based Commission Structure
Hours: 8:30 am – 5 pm Monday – Friday
Joining our sales team you will become a face of C&J Marine. You will be joining a fast paced, exciting sales office learning from a combined experience of personnel with over 25 years in the industry. The role is to create and develop new opportunities by proactively seeking new business, arranging quotations to meet the customer requirements, meanwhile maintaining fantastic customer relationships with our current client base. The role is based from the C&J Marine premises in Chichester and will include substantial time visiting customers and prospecting new business in the field.
Rate / Salary: Approx £8.00 gross per hour, depending on experience
As a Workshop Assistant, you will play a vital role in creating luxury, made to measure covers and upholstery for the interior and exterior of sailing yachts and power boats as well as other industries. You will also assist with the refurbishment and renovation of existing customer products.
Working in our production team, you will you will be expected to meet C&J Marine’s high standards, ensuring that quality and customer service is a priority.
Role expectations and criteria would include:
Previous marine manufacturing experience favoured, but not essential.
Enthusiastic, self-motivated with experience in producing high standards of work.

Job Title: Upholsterer
Rate / Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
Hours: 8 am- 4:30 pm, Monday – Friday
As an upholsterer, you will play a leading role in creating luxury, made to measure upholstery for the interior and exterior of sailing yachts and power boats. You will be responsible for recovering existing cushions and creating brand new sets from scratch. Working alongside our patterning team, you will design and measure upholstery to meet C&J Marine’s high standards, ensuring that quality and comfort is our priority. Previous sewing machine experience is favoured, however, we do have machinists that will work with you to meet customer deadlines. The ideal candidate must have an upholstery background within the automotive, marine or aerospace industry.
