C&J Marine are proud to share the industry's recognition of our expertise in a recent Boat Business article:
In terms of soft furnishings, Martin King, sales manager for CJ Marine, says microfibres and ultra leathers are coming to the forefront and are popular for their easy maintenance and cleaning properties.
“They’re nice to sit on and give a plush look," he said. "People are looking for the wow factor without spending the money. They’re almost bullet proof and they look good.”
Manufacturers regularly introduce new ranges of microfibres, he said, which we thoroughly test before offering to our customers.”
When it comes to cushions and mattresses, customers are moving away from traditional foam, towards more comfortable options, while the modern feel continues into clean lines with items such as scatter cushions, which are now generally plain, bold colours.
“Memory foam is being used a lot for beds, or even sprung mattresses. People are spending more time on their boats and looking for more comfort and traditional foam mattresses are definitely out," said Mr King. "The feel of a modern, swish London flat is definitely top of people’s wish lists."
